The wildedge method
Lead from within. Build without losing yourself.
The WildEdge Method is a transformational leadership methodology designed to help people reconnect with who they are beneath pressure, performance, expectation, and survival.
It exists because we believe many of the challenges people experience in leadership, business, relationships, and life are not purely strategic problems.
They’re human ones.
Most people already know more than they think they do.
What they often lack is:
space to hear themselves clearly
safety to stop performing
perspective outside of their normal environment
trust in their own judgement
connection to who they are underneath responsibility and expectation
Over time, many people become disconnected from themselves whilst becoming increasingly successful externally.
They learn how to:
cope
perform
achieve
carry
protect
adapt
push through
Eventually those adaptations become identity.
The WildEdge Method is designed to interrupt that pattern.
Not through surface-level motivation or performance coaching, but through deep reconnection, embodied experience, honest reflection, challenge, and integration.
At its core, the methodology is built around a simple belief:
Lasting transformation happens when insight becomes embodied.
Not just understood intellectually, but experienced physically, emotionally, psychologically, and relationally.
That is why WildEdge combines:
behavioural insight
environmental psychology
challenge
movement
reflection
nervous system awareness
symbolic experiences
strategic thinking
identity work
nature-based immersion
The method can be applied across:
one-to-one leadership work
Trailblazer Days
Rewilding retreats
corporate leadership experiences
workshops
team development
keynote speaking
The environment changes. The delivery changes. The people change.
The methodology remains the same.
The Six Pillars Of The WildEdge Method
01 — Core Connection
Transformation begins with reconnection.
Many people spend years disconnected from their own needs, instincts, values, emotions, and truth whilst becoming highly effective at functioning for everyone else.
Core Connection is the process of returning to the internal compass beneath the noise.
Not the version shaped by expectation, performance, fear, or conditioning.
The real one.
The work begins by helping people slow down enough to hear themselves clearly again.
02 — Authentic Self-Mastery
Most leadership patterns are not random.
They are learned adaptations.
Over-responsibility, perfectionism, people pleasing, emotional suppression, hyper-independence, over-achievement, fear of visibility, and difficulty resting often began as intelligent responses to earlier environments.
At some point, those patterns created safety, belonging, success, or control.
Over time, however, the same patterns can begin limiting growth, connection, clarity, and wellbeing.
Authentic Self-Mastery is about recognising those patterns consciously rather than continuing to operate from them automatically.
Not with judgement.
With awareness.
Because once something becomes visible, choice becomes possible.
03 — Embodied Anchors
Insight alone rarely creates lasting change.
People can intellectually understand something for years without truly believing it.
Embodied Anchors are experiences that move transformation out of theory and into the nervous system.
Challenge, movement, nature, water, fire, symbolism, reflection, and lived experience all create opportunities for insight to become physically felt rather than simply discussed.
The body remembers what the mind often forgets.
This is why certain moments stay with people long after the experience itself has ended.
Not because they were told something.
Because they experienced themselves differently.
04 — Growth Through Challenge
Growth rarely happens whilst remaining entirely comfortable.
Challenge reveals patterns.
It exposes fear, control, avoidance, self-protection, and limitation.
It also reveals resilience, courage, adaptability, capacity, and self-trust.
Within the WildEdge Method, challenge is never about performance or endurance for its own sake.
It is about expanding somebody’s relationship with discomfort without disconnecting from themselves in the process.
The goal is not to become fearless.
The goal is to stop being ruled by fear.
05 — Breaking Out Of The Norm
Environment shapes behaviour.
Modern life conditions people into constant stimulation, urgency, distraction, and cognitive overload.
Over time, this affects clarity, creativity, emotional regulation, perspective, and strategic thinking.
Breaking Out Of The Norm creates intentional distance from habitual environments and behavioural loops.
This might happen through nature, movement, immersion, stillness, challenge, conversation, or reflection.
When the noise reduces, people often discover they already carry the answers they have been searching for.
They simply have not had the conditions required to access them.
06 — Identity Evolution
Transformation ultimately changes identity.
Not through becoming somebody else, but through releasing the roles, masks, coping strategies, and survival identities that no longer fit.
Identity Evolution is the process of consciously stepping into a more aligned way of leading, living, relating, and creating.
It is the movement from performance towards congruence.
From proving towards trusting.
From surviving towards intentionally living.
This is where people begin building lives, businesses, relationships, and leadership styles that genuinely reflect who they are becoming.
Why We Created WildEdge Worx
WildEdge was created in response to what we saw missing within much of the personal development, coaching, and leadership industry.
Too much work focused purely on:
strategy without self-awareness
mindset without embodiment
performance without sustainability
achievement without alignment
productivity without humanity
surface-level confidence without deeper self-trust
Much of it encouraged people to become better at performing success whilst remaining disconnected underneath it.
We were more interested in a different question:
What happens when people reconnect with themselves first?
Not the polished version, not the performed version - the honest version.
Because from that place:
leadership changes
relationships change
communication changes
decisions change
businesses change
lives change
WildEdge is built on the belief that sustainable leadership is not created through constant optimisation.
It is created through awareness, alignment, courage, challenge, reflection, integration, and self-trust.
Not everybody needs to walk up a mountain.
But everybody eventually reaches an edge where the old way of operating no longer works.
The WildEdge Method exists to help people navigate what comes next.
Meet your Guides
Ant
I'm Ant, co-founder of WildEdge Worx. I take executives, business owners and leadership teams on epic adventures into the hills and mountains, to get them out of their heads, and find clarity.
I have 20 years’ experience working with people in business, from the shop floor to the Boardroom, across Transformation Programmes, Business Consultancy, Operational Management, Strategy Development and Business Coaching.
I’ve always been a strong believer in how environment can shape our thinking, our patterns and our habits, particularly how a big change in thinking needs a radical displacement from your every-day routines.
So in 2021, I combined my expertise and walking in the outdoors, forming Mountain Boardroom, giving leaders and founders time and space free from distractions, to spark extraordinary thinking in extraordinary mountain landscapes.
I’m a Mountain Leader and qualified Outdoor First Aider, with inside knowledge of some of the most epic walking routes in the UK.
